Scaling up quality HIV care cascade through community engagement and addressing human rights barriers
Activity 01
Select and train 30 community volunteers
- Sub-activity Organize workshops for opinion leaders, heads of pre-schools and market queens (at least 30 participants).
Activity 02
Identify and follow up on pregnant women with respect to IPTp uptake.
- Sub-activity Conduct 10 sensitization sessions each at 10 churches, 10 mosques, 10 market places, 10 funeral grounds, 10 schools, 10 Community Information Center.
Activity 03
Carry out community outreaches
using mobile vans and any available systems amongst other menial tasks that will help achieve these goal and objectives (10 mobile van announcement).
- Sub-activity Conduct 10 sessions of film show.
- Sub-activity Conduct house-to-house sensitization visits in all 15 communities on malaria control interventions. At least ten (10) visits per a volunteer.
Activity 04
Organize community durbars observing covid-19 protocols.
for effective implementation of the project.
- Sub-activity Organize at least 5 community durbars observing covid-19 protocols.
- Sub-activity Carry out education in 10 schools on all malaria control interventions.
- Sub-activity Conduct monthly monitoring and evaluation of performance assessment in all selected communities.
