Activity 03

Training of 120 Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW)

in schools as school-based safe abortion advocates

  • Activity 3.1 Identification of interested Adolescent AGYW in schools to be trained on advocacy skills.
  • Activity 3.2 Designing advocacy training materials/manuals.
  • Activity 3.4 Writing and sending invitation letters to participants.
  • Activity 3.5 Invitation to media houses for publication.
  • Activity 3.6 Purchase of Hands Sanitizers and PPEs for participants as safeguarding stakeholders against COVID-19 spread.
  • Activity 3.7 Do a follow up to participants for full participation.

Activity 04

Monthly community engagement by 60 trained advocates

to create awareness law and where to access safe abortion services.

  • Activity 4.1 Develop movement plan.
  • Activity 4.2. Communicating to stakeholders and trained advocates.
  • Activity 4.3 Engaging school Authorities and schools on the law and access to safe abortion services and importance of CSEs in schools.
  • Activity 4.4 Reporting on the outcome of the engagement.
  • Activity 4.5 Quarterly monitoring of activities of safe abortion advocates for effective implementation of the project.
